Sound quality, noise cancellation, wireless charging, multi-connection.

They do not have volume controls, some functions only work with Xiaomi devices.
Technical Features Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro:

- Battery: 6/4 hours (ANC Off/On).
- Weight: 4 .9 gr each cup (with case 55 gr).
Xiaomi is a brand known for launching cheap and good quality products. The Redmi Buds 3 Pro are a great example of this. These True Wireless Bluetooth headphones offer decent sound, active noise cancellation, have good battery performance and support wireless charging.
The Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro are one of the best In Ear headphones you can get without spending a lot of money. They are comfortable, safe and feature the company's latest technology, although some functions can only be enjoyed by users of the brand. In this article we tell you about all its features, pros and cons.

Design
In recent years, True Wireless headsets have dominated the market. They are typically available in two types of design: long like the AirPods 3, or smaller to keep most of the cup in the ear. The Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro headphones are part of the latter group.
The cups of the Redmi Buds 3 Pro are compact (25.4 x 20.3 x 21.3mm) and fit snugly in the ears. The outside of the cups function as simple touch control panels that react well. They also feature technology that automatically pauses playback when you remove one of the cups.
The Redmi Buds 3 Pro are IPX4 certified against splashing water and sweat. You can safely use them in the gym. They feel comfortable, secure and the package comes with three different sets of tips made of silicone, plus a USB-C cable for charging.
Controls
The Buds 3 Pro have simple controls that allow you to operate all functions on both cups. Double-tapping the outside of any cup allows you to play, pause or answer calls, three taps advances the song or rejects a call, and holding down the control for a couple of seconds toggles between noise cancellation modes.
Our only complaint about the controls built into the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro headphones is that you can't manage the volume. You can do it from the app on your phone or smartwatch, of course, but we would have preferred the option on the cups.

Connectivity
These Xiaomi wireless headphones use Bluetooth 5.2 technology. In addition, they can maintain two connections simultaneously. This feature is very useful if you want to switch quickly between your laptop and phone to listen to different content, for example.
Syncing the Redmi Buds 3 Pro cheap Bluetooth headphones is very easy and you can use two methods: press the sync button on the case or take the buds out of the charging base. Both options turn on Bluetooth connectivity, and then you just need to select the headset from the list on your device.
We connected the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro to an iPad and noticed that the synchronization on Netflix or Apple TV videos works well. The latency is minimal and you can enjoy your favorite shows or movies without problems.
Battery life
According to the company, the Redmi Buds 3 Pro have batteries that perform up to six hours on a single charge at 50% volume with noise cancellation turned off. However, performance doesn't exceed four hours if you turn on the ANC. This is a standard capability among affordable In-Ear headsets, but nothing surprising.
Like all the best True Wireless In-Ear headphones, the Redmi Buds 3 Pro come with a case that doubles as a charging base. The case opens easily and features a 470mAh battery that allows you to recharge the buds up to four times.
You can charge the headphones with the USB-C port on the case or with a Qi wireless charger. Just ten minutes of charging via the USB-C port proves sufficient to use the Redmi Buds 3 Pro for about three hours, while the total charging process takes about two and a half hours.

Sound quality and active noise cancellation
They contain 9mm transducers that emit a pleasant sound. Tonal separation is well achieved and all three frequencies are clearly audible. The vocals and all the instruments stand out. It's hard to find other affordable headsets with such well-balanced audio.
You can enjoy the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro headphones in two modes: active noise cancellation and transparency. The latter lets some ambient sound through so you can hear your surroundings, which is very useful in airports or train stations.
Noise cancellation is decent. It considerably reduces the sound of the city and the voices, but it cannot totally isolate you. The performance of the ANC is similar to that offered by the Huawei Freebuds 4i, other affordable and good True Wireless headsets.
On the other hand, if you own a Xiaomi or Redmi phone you can access additional modes that are excellent. For example, adaptive noise cancellation analyzes ambient sounds and changes the noise cancellation to enhance the experience. You also have the auto brightness mode for audio. It's a pity that these functions are not available for all devices.
The cups of the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro wireless earbuds also integrate three noise-reducing microphones to help you make clear calls. Overall, calls sound good, although we don't recommend you make them in noisy environments or in strong winds.
Why do we like the Xiaomi Redmi Buds 3 Pro?
They are inexpensive for the sound they provide and have ANC. The connectivity works flawlessly, they support wireless charging, are comfortable and attractive. They stand out for their quality/price ratio, just like all Xiaomi headphones and speakers.
What don't we like about them?
They have no volume controls and you can only use the cancellation in two modes, unless you have a Xiaomi or Redmi device. This is a significant setback, but it's something we're used to from Apple.

- Mike A: “The sound is crisp, with powerful bass without being overdone. They are comfortable and support wireless charging. About the best you can find in this price range.”
